Tour 2c – Specialty of the Season
1.5-2 hours riding & traditional lunch

Taste the traditional Icelandic food and combine riding with tradition! This tour starts with a riding tour in the spirit of the Vikings. Where we go depends on wind, weather and the participants’ riding experience. When we have dismounted our horses, a traditional meal featuring the specialty of the season awaits us.

•    Autumn’s Leaves (September – December): The Icelandic speciality Hangikjöt.
•    Thorrablot – Back to the Viking midwinter blot  (January – April): Thorrablot – traditional exotic Icelandic food.

Modern alternatives for vegetarians are available on request.

Included: 1.5 – 2 hours of riding and lunch.

Hotel pick-up: In Reykjavik every day between 8:00-8:30. Return to Reykjavík ca. 13:00.

Meeting time at Eldhestar: 9:00.

Return to Reykjavik: Around 13:00.
