We want to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who visited us, joined our tours, or stayed at our hotel. We hope you had a fabulous time and enjoyed every moment of your experience with us! At the same time, we would like to give a big thank you to our stable team, our hotel staff, and everyone behind the scenes who helped us keep Eldhestar running smoothly. The summer is now slowly coming to an end. The green fields are starting to give way to autumn colours, and the air feels a little fresher in the mornings. The picture below shows one of our tours in Reykjadalur Valley, a place that many of you have visited with us this summer. We think back with joy to all the wonderful rides and the moments shared with both new and returning guests!
We are excited to share that our NEW WEBSITE is now online. It should be easier to use and find the information you need, but if you cannot find something or if you prefer to talk to us directly, please don’t hesitate to send us an email. We are always happy to hear from you. We are happy to let you know that BOOKINGS FOR SUMMER 2026 ARE NOW OPEN. There is already a lot of interest, especially around the time of the solar eclipse, so we recommend booking early if you would like to join us then. For those who enjoy browsing through our brochures, the latest editions are now available in ENGLISH and GERMAN.
We look forward to welcoming guests this coming winter. Riding through snow-covered fields and under the northern lights is a very special experience, and we hope some of you will join us for that.
