We hope you had a good start of the year. Winter is in full swing here in Iceland and it is a true winter wonderland at Eldhestar and it’s surroundings. We really enjoy spending time outside with our guests and horses. Riding through the snow, with the crunching sound of hooves is so peaceful. If you love riding on snowy paths as much as we do, Iceland is the place to be these days. Wouldn’t you love to ride through the forest in the picture below?
This week, another one of our Northern Lights Tours has started. While we cannot guarantee the northern lights will show up, we will do our very best to make the riding tours combined with other activities as enjoyable and memorable as possible.
We are also keeping a close eye on our horses that are on their winter vacation, ensuring that they are happy and well. They are located only about 30 minutes drive from Eldhestar so we can visit them as often as we like – and we do.
Although there are still a few winter months ahead of us, the days are starting to get longer and we begin to look forward to the summer.
