Your Next Stop: Eldhestar

It is a beautiful late summer in Iceland, and the adventures with Eldhestar are still going strong. We are still running several multiday tours, so the summer is not over yet! There is plenty of riding, exploring, and Icelandic adventure to enjoy. We can feel fall slowly approaching though. We are continuing our summer programs as long as September allows, hopefully until the end of the month. Some tours, like Tour 6A – The Beach Ride, are only available until mid-September, so do not miss them

Marking the beginning of our winter adventures, our Tour 30A/B – Winter Riding Course (3–5 nights) will start on September 22, followed by the first Tours 8D/E – Northern Lights Tours (3–5 nights) departures on September 29, For those who prefer not to travel to Iceland in the deep winter, September and October are perfect months to visit, with less crowds and stunning autumn landscapes.

A very special summer is coming in 2026, and it is wonderful to see how many of you have already placed yourselves on the waiting list for our multiday tours. We are still working on the prices and will share them with you soon.

The 2026 Solar Eclipse, which will be visible from Iceland, is already attracting a lot of attention, and we expect high demand for these dates. At the same time, Eldhestar will be celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2026!

With these two very special events happening in the same summer, we are preparing some unique ways to celebrate together. Details will be shared later, but you can expect memorable experiences, as always.😉We recommend booking early to secure your place for this once-in-a-lifetime season!

Those on the waiting list will be contated as soon as the prices are available. Are you not on the waiting list yet? Email us, and we will be happy to add you!

Whether you are visiting us for the horses, the hotel experience, the landscapes, or a combination of these, we can’t wait to welcome you at Eldhestar.

We hope to see you soon!
