Although the summer is still with us, we can feel the winter approaching. The northern lights season has slowly started and sooner than we think, we will be riding through frost covered landscapes.
VOLCANIC ERUPTION
On August 24th, the 9th eruption began on the Reykjanes Peninsula. Like previous eruptions, international flights are not affected and Keflavík International Airport is operating as usual. Eldhestar is located in a very safe area, far from the volcanic activity. Our guests, staff and horses are perfectly safe.
